Original love and religious poetry by Lydia M. Tenney and mounted newspaper stories and poems by Browning, Longfellow, Whittier, etc. Laid-in typescript copies of 2 ms. poems ("Poe in Heaven" and "Forevermore") transferred to Ms. 34.13. Poem by Mrs. Barbauld is annotated: "So say I. Lydia M. Tenney Feb 17=1891." Some of her poems evidently were published in the Philadelphia Saturday Evening Post, American Union (Boston), and Gleason's Pictorial Drawing-Room Companion (Boston).
